  The carvery is yummy and the young lady who served us was very polite and a pleasure even though it was very busy. A wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend.

  Ordered two steak dinners. My wife's was rare to medium and mine medium to well. Mine was ok but my poor wife's was a third fat and gristle. The waiting staff let us have an uninterrupted meal. When they collected the plates we showed them how much my wife had to leave. The staff were courteous and bought this to the attention of the manager. He offered coffees. We were not satisfied and asked to see him. An ignorant oafish man walked up to our table and tried to spin us a yarn about meat cuts and that some people liked fatty meat. He offered £1 off the Bill and argues my wife had eaten all the accompanying food but as I pointed out you can't go wrong with chips and salad. Eventually he took a further £1 off and was extremely rude to my wife. He took advantage of the fact the restaurant was empty. Had it been a full restaurant he would not have the audacity to behave so inappropriately. He offered us an email address to complain but smirked it was him who would receive it. Waiting staff 10 out of 10, manager doesn't even deserve a score.

  Went to the Miller on a Monday at 12.30, wasn't very busy but that suited us. We were greet y the waitress Sarah, who was very pleasant and helpful. The drinks were OK, and the Carvery was superb.
  I made a booking for April this year, for our Bowls club meal, and I think the members will be very happy.
  A great place for a superb meal.
